The right underlay adds comfort, warmth and years of life to a carpet, and a properly prepared subfloor is essential under vinyl and laminate. We will recommend what the room needs and nothing it doesn’t.

Good value for smaller rooms and quick jobs.
We often have roll ends and stock rolls in the shop in a variety of colours, sizes and qualities. They are ideal for box rooms, landings, rental properties or a quick tidy-up before a sale, and they can usually be fitted quickly.

Do you measure at home?
Yes. We offer a no-obligation home measure for rooms, stairs and landings. Call the shop to arrange a convenient time.
Do I need exact measurements to get a quote?
No. Your postcode, the rooms involved and rough dimensions are enough to start. We confirm quantities with a proper measure before anything is ordered.
Is fitting included?
Fitting is arranged through the shop and quoted as part of the job, so you get one clear price for the finished floor. Uplift of the old floor, moving furniture and disposal are discussed when you book.
How long does fitting take?
Most single rooms are fitted in a few hours; a whole house, stairs or a floor needing preparation takes longer. We will give you a realistic idea when we measure.
How soon can it be fitted?
It depends on the range, availability and the fitting diary. Roll stock can often be fitted quickly; ordered ranges take longer. Ask when you enquire.
Can I get an instant price online?
A fitted quote depends on the material, quantity, subfloor and fitting details, so we do not publish prices online. Contact us and we will quote for the whole job.
