Common questions

Is all vinyl waterproof?

Do not assume that every vinyl product or fitted floor has the same water protection. Product construction, sealed edges, joins and the room all matter. Confirm bathroom or kitchen suitability for the specific range.

Can vinyl go over my existing floor?

Sometimes, but the surface needs to be suitable, stable and prepared correctly. Tell us what is underneath now so preparation can be assessed before a quote is finalised.

What is the difference between sheet vinyl and LVT?

Sheet vinyl comes in rolls; luxury vinyl tile comes as separate tiles or planks. They have different installation and preparation requirements. Ask us which formats and ranges are currently available.

Can I use vinyl with underfloor heating?

Many specific ranges are compatible, but the heating system, temperature limits and installation method must all meet the manufacturer’s instructions. Bring the heating details when you visit.
