Start with the furniture

Mark out a possible size on the floor before you visit. Decide whether the rug should sit underneath the front legs of your seating or frame a smaller area.

Colour & pattern

Use a quiet tone to connect the room, or a stronger pattern as a focal point. Photographs of your furniture and curtains help when comparing options.

Pile & placement

Think about doors opening over the rug, chair legs and how easily it needs to be cleaned. A suitable rug underlay can help it sit securely on the chosen floor.

Do you have rugs to buy online?

The website helps you plan your visit. Please contact the shop for the current rug selection, sizes and prices.

How do I choose a rug size?

Use masking tape or a sheet to try a footprint in the room. Check door clearance and allow enough room around furniture, especially dining chairs when they are pulled out.

Is the photograph a rug for sale?

The patterned photograph is a carpet sample from our Facebook archive, included as colour and pattern inspiration. It is not a current rug listing.
